Director picked for film about Beatles Apple; old building gets facelift (pics)
See exclusive pictures at left of the renovation of the old Apple Records building now going on in London.
Michael Winterbottom, whose credits include "24 Hour Party People" and documentaries "The Road to Guantanamo" and "The Shock Doctrine," may be the choice to direct the upcoming film version of "The Longest Cocktail Party," the book by Richard DiLello about life at Apple on Savile Row, according to a report by the Playlist. Co-producers are Andrew Eaton and Liam Gallagher.
