BFS seems to be either loved or hated. It’s one of 3 or 4 favorites, love the Browns and yellows…Great photo. Nice unobtrusive typography too.

The best cover has to be the one for their self titled album. It’s so simple, yet beautiful.
Me, I love the concept so much (specially the individually – stamped numbers and the embossing) that I don’t even mind that the visual result is kinda one-dimensional)

The White Album cover is great, because I think it gives the album a mysterious and pending aspect to what you are about to listen to. While browsing through the Discographies section on this site, I came across one country’s version of the album which had the four photos and song titles on the front cover, which I think ruins that aspect.

I love the Double Fantasy cover. I wish Yoko had used something else for Milk And Honey however.I honestly love the cover/title combo on Beatles For Sale .
Somewhere In England is pretty weird, I’m not a fan.
I also agree with SgtPeppersBulldog that Driving Rain ‘s cover kind of sucks. I think Brian Ray took the photo with a camera from a watch.
Good thinking then that the album cover is as atrocious as the music contained within. ‘Driving Rain ‘ is easily in my top 5 list of worst ever ‘Beatles/Solo’ albums, it is mind blowing how bad a record Paul put together. Words can’t come close to explaining how ghastly it is.

Offline I love the Somewhere in England cover. Then you flip it around and it’s fake. George is such a prankster
Driving Rain looks like it’s a picture of him in the shower or something(now I’m sure @Ahhh Girl is gonna listen to the album fantasizing that). It’s a terrible quality image. Chaos And Creation In The Back Yard, on the other hand, had a very nice album image.
I also quite like the cover of NEW. It’s abstract, kind of like Venus And Mars , or McCartney
I’ve never really found the Flowers In The Dirt cover that amazing. While it’s a great album, the cover is just ehh.

Offline Can’t stand Flowers/dirt cover…photo more appropriate to one of those instrumental “50 greatest melodies” ez listening samplers. Where’s the dirt?? Looks more like golden brown velour or something. Even Red Rose speedway did something interesting with a flower, even tho the result was pretty dunb

Best album cover – Revolver – I like how it is a drawing rather than a picture.
I agree. I also like that it’s a collage and mixed media. Makes it more interesting.
I think Beatles For Sale has the worst cover. George’s hair is strange and it’s too orange. I don’t like that color. I like the inside of the record, though. That picture of them in DC is probably my fave Beatles picture. They all look so presh.

my favourite cover of theirs is either Rubber Soul or Revolver , my least favourite is probably Please Please Me
I like the autumnal vibe Beatles For Sale has going on on the cover, but I get why people aren’t into it
