Offline I was watching “Come Dine With Me” today and Paul and The Frog Chorus (my favourite Paul solo song) “We All Stand Together” was playing and at the end “Everyday” by Buddy Holly was playing, I bet Paul got quite a bit of money off that episode. “Come Dine With Me” is quite good for Beatles songs I’ve heard a crappy version of Strawberry Fields Forever , the original Penny Lane and She Loves You on it as well, when the competition was being held in Liverpool and one of the competitors lived on Penny Lane

Offline I had a GREAT Beatley moment tonight! My oldest son & two of his friends wrote a one-act play and submitted it to a local theatre festival. It was one of two one-act plays selected. The play has been running this week and I went to see it tonight with a friend. I was so surprised when the play started and “Eleanor Rigby ” was playing on the speakers!! Great choice, kid!
Oh! The play was great too! Very deep, but comedic and sweet too. Cool night!

Offline A few nights ago I was at a graduation party for my husband’s second cousin who was graduating high school. There was a guitar that some people were playing around with. I walked into the room later on and his uncle was playing the guitar. I said, “I didn’t know you could play.” Just then he stops whatever he was playing and starts playing “Yesterday ” for me because he knows I’m a huge Beatles fan. lol.

Offline I’m at the dentists at the moment (in Northern Ireland ooohh) but when I was getting my teeth checked “She Loves You ” was playing on the radio, I was taping my foot and the dentist asked “Beatles fan?” and with my mouth full of cotton I replied “I sure am!”. Happy days

Offline Two summers ago my band embarked on an east coast tour of the US. When deciding what to call the tour and promote it as, I suggested The Magical Mustachery Tour. That became the official name of the tour, and we donned fake Sgt. Pepper -esque mustaches for our promotional photo shoot. It was great.

Offline At work a customer asked me if my Beatles tattoo was a Harry Potter tattoo… I said it was the Beatles and he’s like “Oh yeah, I see it now!”…. then proceeded to tell me that he was embarrassed because he’s a “fan”. 
That’s better than when I first got it and my boss said (about Paul) “Look, it’s Spock!”…. turns out he was right though, his ear looked pointy. I have since had it touched up, now it looks just like Paulie! 
I really love it, it just brightens my day! All I have to do is look down, and BEATLES!

Offline Just remembered another…
My husband and I picked up his best friend the other night to go and have dinner, and he handed me two Beatles post cards. One is the inside of Sgt Pepper , and the other is a colour picture from their first Ed Sullivan performance. His sister was visiting him and she had brought them back from Britain, and then he gave them to me!

Offline Sorry for the triple post, but I just remembered another one. I thought I had already mentioned it but I can’t find it.. so I apologize if I’m just repeating myself, my memory is terrible!
I was talking to one of my customers this week and he said that he saw WINGS in the 70’s! My mind exploded from jealousy. He got to see Linda AND Paul.. with that fabulous mullet! That great music! So cool.
Then I asked him if Paul was wearing those overalls…
.. then I asked him if he was wearing no shirt underneath…
.. then I asked him if he saw Paul’s nipple… 
… He laughed (I know him really well). Apparently he couldn’t remember, lol.

Offline Hmm… is it a mistake… or a Beatles reference?
EDIT: Also, I’ve noticed something a bit… odd… no, not odd, just… interesting. My health teacher sometimes acts like John. I don’t know how to explain it, but some things he does remind me of John. It’s kind of weird, but also kind of cool.

Offline I started my exams today and in English Paper 1 John Lennon Airport was mentioned In Paper 2 there was a girl called Rita and I may/may not have named the two characters in my essay Pattie and George…. And George may have played Raunchy on a bus 
Irish tomorrow and The Beatles might (but most likely won’t) come up as it is the 50th anniversary of Please Please Me this year

Offline Was in my hometown a couple of days ago and a guy was walking about wearing a t-shirt with the leaping image from the Twist And Shout EP cover. First time ever in my hometown ive ever seen any beatle clothing.
