'I Don't Want To Spoil The Party ' was on the radio on Saturday. A deep cut in itself, it was on a Digital Radio station which plays only the greatest hits - when was 'IDWTSTP' a hit? Maybe b-sides count.
Edit
A #1 hit

Nothing on TV so have put on 'Ultimate Cover Versions' on BBC iPlayer and the Beatles are second in with 'Twist And Shout ' from 'It's The Beatles'. I'm never confident of a Beatles track appearing in such programmes so is always nice to see.
And then they play half the song before cutting to Adele who kills the mood with one of her depressing numbers - which could be any of her songs.

I've had a few Beatley Moments here and there in the past week or two
I pulled a muscle dancing to Saw her standing there at my school dance. It was totally worth it.
Also at my school some of the studnets in the grades below me have taken to calling me "Beatles Guru". I dunno how I feel about my new title, but it's a new Beatley title for my Beatley titles collection. It's a little bit charming. Sometimes they follow me around and ask me why I like the Beatles and things along those lines.
Also one of the Librarians at the library has called me "The inhouse Beatles expert". This one might be my favortie Beatley title.
Lastly @yopple and I were in the library where I saw a book and said "Is that a Paul McCartney book!" it was infact a Paul McCartney biography. Later I accidently found a John Lennon Biography. That reminds me about a time a few years ago I found the Linda McCartney cookbook in the same library.

Saw a license plate that said MAC N JHN today. Wondered whether it was a Beatles reference or not.

I have a bunch of Beatley moments I wanna share. I'm living in Beatley times right now.
Well it seems as though the indoctrinatio- Er I mean education of the Beatles to my younger schoolmates it starting to show. The other morning one of my friends ran up to me and went "is this the Beatles?" and showed me a picture of John and George and I told her it was John and George she said "John and George" and ran off.
Later that week another kid ran up to me and asked "What instrument is used in the beginning of 'Pink Fields Forever'?" I was confused and he told me "MELLOTRON!" and I was like "Do you mean Strawberry Fields Forever
?". Later he an his friends kept telling me reasons why they thought the Beatles were cool.
MY PROPOGANDA IS WORKING. So far a bunch of them have been bugging me about the Beatles. They follow me around soemtimes and ask me about the BeatlesThey also always yell at me to "GET OFF BEATLES BIBLE FOR ONCE!" No.
I also found out another one of the librarians is a Beatles Fan. At least I think, she had some knowledge of them and seemed to understand things a non-fan wouldn't really know. I showed her my drawings (on Beatles Bible) and we talked and stuff. I found out she was the one who found my lost Beatles drawings and kept them for me. Oh and apparently my Beatles drawings have become a hit with the librarians. I asked one of them if I could have my Beatles collage back after the showcase had ended and she said "Yours is the Beatles one isn't it?" HOW DID SHE KNOW?!?! This was the first time I'd talked to that librarian is specfic. I think I might radiate fangirl energy or something....
I also found out one of my neighbors is a big Beatles fan. My brother and I were yelling at each other about different kinds of muisc, when I brought up ballads. My example for a ballad was obviously The Ballad of Yoko and John. Our neighbor over heard our shouting and we ended up talking about the Beatles. He's made the pilgrimage to Liverpool so you know he's a true hardcore Beatles fan. He told us about his trip to Liverpool, some of the songs he likes, ect. ect. He was really nice and he said he was happy to see the younger generations getting into the Beatles.
Yeah that's a lot.... I just live a really Beatley life, it's the fangirl lifestyle after all.

I was sitting on the floor in band class and the Orchestra teacher came stomping in angry. Without saying anything else he just shouted "GET BACK!" and I jumped up and said "Get Back
Loretta!". The Band teacher giggled at the reference. I didn't even mean to jump up it was just an instinct.
Turns out the Orch. Teacher was not making a getting back reference, he was looking for the student who had snuck out of his class and went into the band room.

The chancellor of germany Olaf Scholz was not reelected in the Election for the new Parlament in Feburary of ths year. So he had a send off yesterday evening. The Bundeswehr played 3 songs of his choice. One was "In my Life" from none other then our Fab 4. Here is the piece:
Hope you enjoy!
Fun Fact: I am going to use the lyrics from this song for my wedding speech.

Heard a few Beatles songs at an airshow I went to on Saturday. Forgot what a banger "I Saw Her Standing There
" is, it hits different being blasted over the tarmac at an Air Force base while you're surrounded by airplanes.

I was most impressed by the solo, especially given that George Martin (1) had played it at half speed on the record and (presumably) (2) wasn't wearing gloves.

Was in a pub in Dunfermline which played 'Must Do Something About It'. Certainly one of the deeper cuts I'd never expect to hear.

Lucky. It seems everywhere I hear Beatles (other than a good record store) is either Here Comes The Sun or While My Guitar Gently Weeps . Those will survive 1,000 years.

Similarly, I heard "Arrow Through Me" on the radio today, which hardly ever occurs. Supposedly it was a #27 single on the Canadian pop chart in 1979, but I don't remember hearing it at all at the time; and I listened to the radio practically all the time in those days.

Yeah. The only Beatles song I hear Alexa playing in random music mode is 'HCTS' and it becomes a groan.
