Got the Sims 4 up and running again a few weeks ago, but been playing a premade character while I got the mods and cc I wanted in place and checked it was running as wanted. Started a new build in a new game a couple of days ago, to start a game peopled with my characters, and I’ve added official stuff since I last built a house. Looking for a hot tub, I came across this…

@KyleKartan Walking on it was amazing. Hopefully, you’ll go back to London soon.

I have booked the Magical Mystery Tour walk with Richard for 23rd June and another walking Beatles tour focusing on 1961-1965 guided by Adam Scott-Goulding the next day.

Saw a youngish* dude wearing a Beatles t-shirt today earlier today downtown, while I was still thinking about my most recent Forum post, and of my next one. Shirt read “BEATLES – LET IT BE” and duplicated the headshots from that album cover.

*Like say 20s, early-to-mid 30s. Youngish to me.

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

George playing ‘GML (GMPOE)’ live from Japan is playing on ‘Spotlight’.
I didn’t even know TV channels were able to show such a clip; is that from the ‘Apple Years box?

Had another Beatley moment yesterday – I was in the kitchen re-reading Philip Norman’s Lennon bio (I’m up to about 1970) while mombontee was in the next room with the TV oldies-jukebox channel playing, and suddenly “One, two, three, FAW!! Well, she was just 17…” kicks in. And I look up from my book and rock out…for about 30 seconds, until she suddenly changes the channel to the home-and-garden network. paul-mccartney

A couple months ago I was at an open mic that my friends band was hosting, some guys I didnt know were up there covering it with only one guy singing and so I hopped on stage to take Paul’s high harmony. Was pretty drunk but didn’t do too horrible. Guy who worked there (also my friend) told me I was not allowed to just jump on stage drink in hand like that.

I went to Ascot today and took photos of Tittenhurst Park. It’s a great property. I also brought my Yellow Submarine Lego figures with me.

On You and Yours today (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/p…..y/m0016psp), the story starts around the 42 minute mark. The gentleman says that parking isn’t free anymore at some place. I can’t quite make out what/where he says. He mentions the parking company. He doesn’t say the name of the company, but he says that if you think of the Beatles you’ll know which one he is talking about. So, can you tell me where he mentions he now has to pay and what company he is talking about? UK folks help this US Ahhh Girl out.

I’m pretty sure he says Seasalter (Whitstable), looks like they use the RingGo app there

My hot take is that after the Beatles split they went down the paths of spiritualism, solipsism, alcoholism, and Paul McCartney

I feel obliged to add that I’m not actually in the UK, just very near. And I’ve just noticed that there’s not smiley for Paul’s grandfather (I was thinking he’d want me to make the distinction)
