Rory is leaving her mother, Lorelai, to go and cat-sit for the night:
LORELAI: You know, this is only like the second night we’ve ever spent apart. Doesn’t that make you sad?
RORY: Yeah, but I’ll get over it.
LORELAI: Uh-huh. Well, Paul and Linda McCartney only spent eleven nights apart their entire relationship. Did you know that?
RORY: I did not know that.
LORELAI: Well they were truly devoted to each other. Just the being apart was too painful to even talk about.
RORY: I understand.
LORELAI: I don’t think that Linda would have even considered cat-sitting without Paul.
Later in the same episode, Rory is looking for a particular album from her friend, Lane’s collection.
RORY: Hey, that sounds right. William Shatner. Is this the one where he sings Tambourine Man?
LANE: And Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds .
RORY: Remind me to get this for my mom for her birthday.

Offline Yet another bunch of recent assorted ones, many from my vacation:
– We briefly walked through a fair in one town, and they played I Feel Fine over the speakers.
– I was watching a music videos channel on tv, and the video for Bob Marley’s One Love came on. To my surprise, Paul made a cameo appearance!!
– Later, the video for Our House by Madness came on, and in one scene there was a guy playing a guitar while wearing a Beatle wig and a grey collarless suit.
– I got a tour of my favourite local classic rock station from one of the DJs, and they had not one, but two Beatley decorations! One was an Abbey Road mural, and the other one was a picture from what I think was that one photo shoot where they were holding umbrellas.

Offline Shopping at Tesco’s today, spotted the September issue of Mojo (dated October 2019), and it was/is Abbey Road themed. Big article on the album, each song looked at in turn, and a preview of the 50th (seems someone, probably George, shouts “Kick out the Jams…” at the end of the outtake Maxwell. 
Came in a sealed bag because not only was there the free cover-mounted CD (not Beatley) but a double-sided A4x4 poster of their Liverpool and London.

Had to buy three copies!!! One for the Red, one for the Blue, and one to leave sealed!!!

Offline The time has finally come. I’m sure I’ll forget stuff, but here is my attempt to recount everything beatley that’s happened.
When we were in Disney World Hollywood Studios I met an older beatles fan in line by virtue of me wearing my Come Together shirt, and we talked for awhile which was cool.
When we went to Epcot, there was the concert in the UK section of World Showcase called British Revolution . They played Revolution , Twist And Shout , and Birthday as well as songs by other british bands.
From there I was starting school, and people would comment on my beatles shirt and pin.
I met another really cool beatles fan who’s dad worked for Paul McCartney so they had a ton of cool stuff from that.
In my shop class they play older music that is pretty often the Beatles.
I saw someone wearing a Beatles shirt and yelled “the Beatles are awesome!” to which they agreed.
Oh and this only half counts but I noticed Sir Walter Raleigh being mentioned on Zoey 101, and I saw a book on him in the library one time.
I think this is everything? Probably?

Offline Oh right and I rewatched part of Big Time Rush which has a lot of Beatles references because it’s basically a Monkees reboot, but there was a point where the group is running from screaming fans à la A Hard Day’s Night which was cool to notice.

Offline I was at the grocery store and I saw two (TWO!!!) Beatley magazines.
I was was tempted to buy the first one but it was fourteen dollars and I didn’t have fourteen dollars.
