Okay so yesterday there was a lot of goodbye stuff for the seniors (aka me) at my high school. And we had this farewell assembly and then afterwards everyone’s hugging each other and it’s really emotional. I end up hugging someone I haven’t seen in awhile and they’re wearing a Beatles T-shirt and I freak out. I’m like “oh my God you like the Beatles” and they’re like “yeah they’re my favorite band” and I’m like “they’re my favorite band too!” Then we hugged some more.
Pity you met them after you went to school with them for several years…
I wear Beatles t-shirts all the time, but the only time people ever talk to me about them is to ask why my shirt is so creepy (I generally get that one with the ATMP shirt the most) or to ask what they are.

I just bought an amazing record yesterday that has pictures of the boys imprinted onto the record and its called The Silver Beatles so its got their old stuff on it and I kept replaying the Sheik of Araby because I love the bit when John makes that funny noise that sounds like ‘nya ha’ (if you listen to the song you’ll know what I mean)

Offline (Bear with me, this is a long one)
So, I go to the girlfriends last night, and she’s watching this film Bruno,by the guy who created the character Ali G. I’ve never seen the film before,so we start watching it,and I think I see Paul McCartney ,so I shout “Ahhhhh, there’s Paul “. She looks at me and says “Paul who”? So I’m like 
, like there’s ANOTHER Paul worthy of my scream,right?
Then the conversation goes something like this, after I decide to wind her up:
Me: “Oh, he’s a friend of mine, known him years,he plays the guitar,and he’s left handed, like me”
Gf: “Have I ever met him”?
Me: “I hope not,as I’d be really annoyed if you met him without telling me”
Gf: “Why’s that”?
Me: “He’s a pretty special guy, that’s all,means a lot to me. Hey, it’s his birthday today, how weird is that huh”?
Gf: “Yeah weird” (I can tell at this point she’s not really paying attention,so I say):
“He’s written loads of brilliant songs”
Gf: “Really”?
Me: “Yeah, you may have heard of one or two”
It then dawns on her who I mean, and she throws a cushion at me,says “You’re obsessed with the Beatles”, to which I’m like “well,yeah, obviously” and then she says something that makes me sad inside: “Ed Sheeran is so much better”. I can’t resist,so I say casually:
“Hey speaking of Ed, there’s a film coming out, and he’s in it. I was going to get us tickets,as I know what a massive fan of Ed you are”
Gf: 
I’m such a good boyfriend aren’t I?
