As I got to the pet section in Walmart, I heard If I Fell playing over the PA system. I didn’t leave that area until the end of the song. I wanted to make sure I didn’t walk into a noisy part of the store where I couldn’t hear the music.

Spotted in Hamburg airport just moments ago:
Hamburg doesn’t really embrace its Beatley heritage (they’re pretty much letting all the old Beatle buildings rot). So, it’s nice to find a quote at the very least.
I’ve been through the airport a good few times over the past year but this is the first time I’ve seen it (it’s at the end of the A gates for future Biblers passing through).

Last week we were driving home from Georgia and I decided to listen to the White Album . I got to the line in Back In The USSR ‘Georgia’s always on mymymymymymymymymyMIND’ right as we crossed over the state border, which has a sign up that says ‘We’re Glad Georgia’s On Your Mind’.

Offline The back of one of my parents’ college textbooks (cell biology, I think).
Yes, that is indeed the Actual Abbey Road Crossing. It says on the inside, ‘Back cover: The authors, in alphabetical order, crossing Abbey Road in London on their way to lunch. Much of this third edition was written in a house just around the corner.’

Reminds me if the time I was driving to Mobile, AL for my great grandfather’s funeral, listening to Stuck Inside of Mobile With the Memphis Blues Again. The line “Grandpa died last week” hit me like a freight train. I couldn’t believe how I was able to relate to a song i’d heard a million times in such a new way all because of where I was and what was happening in my life. Really incredible.
