One of them was singing Imagine , then they had a brief argument over whether it was sung by John on his own or by The Beatles, then once that was settled one of them ‘it’s a great song isn’t it?’ before their conversation moved on.

Offline I was babysitting my neighbour’s kids again today, and they’ve become obsessed with my record player. Their favourite albums to put on are Sgt Pepper , Björk’s Post, the Velvet Underground & Nico and KKB’s Bonito Generation, since those are usually sitting out of the box where I keep them. We played Sgt Pepper in its entirety today, and they loved it. With A Little Help From My Friends went down a storm 
P.S I know The Velvet Underground & Nico isn’t a very child-friendly album, so I tend to play Sunday Morning or I’ll Be Your Mirror before swapping to another one

Offline my friend who moved to florida just texted me and told me that her neighbor has a dog named ringo and she was playing beatles music when she went in her house. plus she’s a queen fan. im so jealous.

There’s a dog named Ringo at the ranch I volunteer at.
A fine name for a dog. My future dog is probably going to have many, many middle names in order to fit in all the stuff I’d like to name them, but Ringo is near the top of the list for sure

Offline Beatle-y moments, eh?
All right…*Cracks knuckles* –ow.
It’s high school. CHRISTIAN high school. All the students are pretty much the same. Completely devoid of Beatlesdome save for the odd song recognition here or there. Everyone likes modern hiphop in my class and I’m probably the only real Beatles fan in the building…until one day, while we’re taking a test and with the room so quiet you could hear a pin drop, my teacher starts humming All You Need Is Love for no reason at all. No one seems to be catching on, so he starts singing the entire chorus in a loud enough way to be heard. I don’t mean a few words, i’m talking the full stanza. Not a peep from the room, either. Except for me. I’m bobbing my head to his tempo. Finally, someone gets it! – THEN he comes around again…
“All ‘Ya Need Is Love!”
RIGHT ON CUE, I holler out with as much gusto as I can muster: “ALL TO-GETH-ER NOW! = D”
But instead, I heard no joyous singing in response…no continuation of this would-be magical moment…
Only silence…
DEAD. FREAKIN’. SILENCE.
Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Even the teacher….But tell me true, my brothers and sisters….if it were any one of you, would you not have done the same?
I regret NOTHING. Not even to this day~

Anyhoo, I faced a freaking battalion of Beatley Moments during my math test today. Sometimes it feels like every single number is Beatles-related in some way.
Oh, and I spent at least a half hour typing the Beatles’ names into my calculator in Chemistry. George + Ringo = 461,982

i made a little comment on my math paper whenever there was a nine saying “ooh wowie a nine!”
im glad all my teachers this year don’t mind my doodling and such. my algebra teacher last year did not take it so well…
