Offline Some Beatley moments from Moscow:
– There was a poster by a Beatles cover band
– I saw a shop which had sold a collection by Stella McCartney
– When we entered a toy shop (I know that sounds weird, but it was actually the biggest toy store in Russia, soooo…
) they played Obladi Oblada
In this particular shop, I also found the snow-peaked mountains way down south…
… made out of LEGO bricks!!
And, although it’s not exactly a Beatley moment, of course, I listened to Back In The USSR on the plane flight to Moscow and to When I Get Home and I’ll Be Back on the flight back home (or to be more precise, to The White Album and AHDN respectively).

Offline Whilst in town yesterday, I heard a shop playing a cover of ‘A Hard Day’s Night ‘ — the ‘When I’m hoooooome’ — from across the street*. My hardcore-Beatles-fan radar range is extensive.
I also spotted a Union Jack among a bunch of bluegrass CDs which turned out to be an album called Bluegrass Beatles. The song selection had your usual hits, but it also included ‘If I Fell ‘, ‘Here, There And Everywhere ‘, and ‘I Will ‘, so I approved immensely. I heard a sample of it and it sounded quite good.
I also had a Led Zeppelin moment when I heard ‘The Song Remains The Same’ at a gas station, which made me quite happy. 
*It was a proper Southern avenue too, none of that narrow Northern nonsense.

Also, a couple days ago, somebody asked me if I used to be obsessed with One Direction and I told them that I’ve never really listened to 1D but I used to be obsessed with The Beatles and still am. Her response was “ew”.
