I just came across this book title while I was searching on the internet to see if I could find out if/how Serials Solutions keeps up with JSTOR’s “moving wall”.

It may be a bit of a stretch, but my parents and I were at the mall, and my mum pointed out a purse. She said it had a fringe on it, and I thought it had one of these fringes:

I was disappointed a little when I saw it didn’t. ahdn_paul_01 *However*, I now have the inspiration to make my own that does… ahdn_george_08

Honestly not sure where to put this, but a couple of weeks ago I was driving and wound up accidently hitting a opossum (ugh) just as the last chord in A Day In The Life played. This is such a stupid story, but I felt like sharing I don’t know.

They just finished playing Nobody Told Me and are now playing Pipes Of Peace on an old Top Of The Pops rerun!

I heard Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da on the radio a little while ago. Before then, I’d never heard it on the radio before.

Watching a very old episode of ‘Family Fortunes’ where one of the questions in the final round is

[Name] “One of the Beatles?”

The first contestant had to go back to the question at the end before stumbling to Lennie (!!!).

The second contestant said John Lennon which scored 26. The presenter didn’t give the scores for the others.

I went to see Jefferson Starship perform today. In the pre-show music, a few Beatles songs were played, including (but not limited to) :

Love Me Do

From Me To You

I Want To Hold Your Hand

Hey Jude

Did they play ‘1’ on random mode?

If you’re going to play Beatles songs to a bunch of people, you should be playing some lesser known but better than their hits songs like Dear Prudence and Fixing A Hole , but then again these are the same people who did Somebody To Love and then changed their band name so they can do We Built This City which is just a dull and generic 80’s pop number filled with synths.

If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

No, because there were songs by other bands in between.

I’m currently out at an esteemed arts camp in Interlochen, Michigan playing for 6 weeks with the World Youth Wind Symphony. Usually here, we’re rehearsing, taking a theory or composition class, or going about campus on our own, similar to a college music major setting. The only difference is, since it’s technically a camp, we’re staying in cabins.

So, we have cabin nights every once in a while, and some friends and I were making s’mores. When i walked over to the pavilion, my friend had music playing and I immediately recognized it as Something . Turns out he was playing all of Abbey Road . I told him I was proud of hima-hard-days-night-john-1

2 in Children Of Men. Someone has a Lennon poster on their wall, and Bring On The Lucie (Freda People) plays.

Yesterday I saw this piano.

image.jpgImage Enlarger

image.jpgImage Enlarger

It was in front of a bar where the walls are filled with Beatles records. I couldn’t go in since I’m not 21. Maybe when I come back for college I’ll take a look inside.

Then I went to go buy stuff for my mission and Handle With Care played in the store.

Then this morning on the news, Handle With Care played on a story about the cops breaking a dog out of a hot car.
