Very silly thread of YouTube comments for a very silly bit of science fiction.

No spoilers, but Paul gets a mention 15 minutes into episode 7 of season 2 of Orange is the New Black.

I saw a picture of Paul on a tabloid the other day at CVS with a title that said "Brave Fight For His Life!"

If I spoke prose you'd all find out, I don't know what I talk about.

Monday, I was showing Bambi Meets Godzilla to a friend who'd never heard of it. It's been at least 20 years since I last saw it, and I realized that it uses the final chord from A Day In The Life.

I meant to post this earlier this week, and I remembered when it happened to come up in a separate conversation today. Funny how that works.

I looked for this while going through the check-out at Walmart last night. Either they don't carry that tabloid or a new issue is out. I bet the picture made him look awful.

Yup, all the pictures on those usually make people look bad.

It will have been done and designed to sell copies. Something to pay little attention to.

The stories that the tabloids print are lies anyway. People like to read about what goes on in famous people's lives. But it hurts the reputation of people. And they make a ton of money doing it. Don't believe the lies. a-hard-days-night-ringo-12

You can bet your copy of New that there will have been a lot of mentions of an "unnamed source" in the article - "unnamed source" normally being code for "we made it up ourselves in the office as we typed this garbage up".

Never could see any other way, am I right? That chord works well to illustrate a final and sudden death. I am amazed at the effort it took to record the final chord. Five pianos and a pump organ, and you could hear the chairs! Perfect illustration!

Ok, I suppose this doesn't technically qualify, since I "contrived" this myself, and most of you probably have cuts of Beatles songs for ringtones, but after I spent a year in the doldrums with I'm Only Sleeping and I'm So Tired, I stumbled across the perfect one:

Hello hello
(Hello Goodbye) I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
(Hello Goodbye Hello Goodbye) Hello hello
(Hello Goodbye) I don't know why you say goodbye (Hello Goodbye) I say hello

And if by chance you didn't know, both android and ios have apps to cut ringtone pieces out of mp3s.

Half of what I say is meaningless...

I feel good in a special way, I'm in love and it's a sunny day

Doesn't it make you mad when someone goes, "I love the Beatles! 'Imagine' is their greatest song!" When I hear that I just explode!

A friend of mine in school told me about how he once went around singing "I Am The Walrus" to random kids in gym class and they all thought he was crazy!

P.S. Here's a video of Strawberry Fields Forever some guy made with various photographs and video clips!
