On the first post of the page, Oasis and Imagine Dragons are both excellent bands. Great music.

For the Beatley moment, the commercial in front of my hockey podcast has Cut Me Some Slack in it.

First time that ever happened. I never even hear Cut Me Some Slack on the radio. Huh. Who woulda thunk it?

Yeah, I almost didn’t believe it until the singing came in

Cut Me Some Slack is one of those songs that no one knows about. If you told someone that was the Beatles, it would be news to him. Hockey ad execs are genius!

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

I only half agree with that.

I’ve heard Cut Me Some Slack a few times on my favourite radiostation. They soon stopped playing it though. Not sad about it, I don’t like it that much.

Your radio station is much different than mine.

Beatle moment: I’m riding in the car when Day Tripper comes on the radio. All of a sudden, we pull up. He starts to open the door (the radio shuts off when you open the door), and I tried to take the keys back. I lost. I missed Day Tripper .a-hard-days-night-ringo-12

I was in the car today, and I heard Got My Mind Set On You and My Sweet Lord

I hear George on the radio more than I hear The Beatles or any of the other three, and then I also hear Ringo pretty often on the radio.

I hardly hear George (except for My Sweet Lord , which comes once in a while) and Ringo (It Don’t Come Easy and You’re Sixteen) Other than that I rarely hear them.

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

It’s always the same couple songs by each of them, but I never hear Paul or John on the radio.

I hear Wings song (most-played to least played) Live And Let Die , Band On The Run , Jet , Listen to What the Man Said, Silly Love Songs, My Love. The only John song is Imagine (except for Happy Xmas (War is Over) but they only play that during Christmas).

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

@Zig

Am The Wal-Mart

Mother ’s here, my sister’s here, my cousin’s here
And they’re all the same person
See how we run through aisles one by one, see how we buy
We’re buying

Wearing my pajamas – waiting for next laundry day
Gotta buy a tee-shirt, maybe even some pants
Man I been a naughty boy, I left the house like this.
I am the redneck, they are the rednecks
I am the Wal-Mart, goo goo goo joob”

Brilliant!

I was listening to While My Guitar Gently Weeps when we pulled up. Just like the Day Tripper incident, I didn’t get the keys. I missed While My Guitar Gently Weeps too. a-hard-days-night-ringo-12a-hard-days-night-ringo-12a-hard-days-night-ringo-12

I was watching this video from American Idol, and, randomly, Julian Lennon was in the audience around 6:42.
