so, with the Abbey Road anniversary just announced, I realized I should probably post my "anthology road" playlist. it's essentially using the songs on anthology to remake a more bare-bones version of Abbey Road . the tracks are all the same, except the ones that weren't on Anthology 3 . with the ones that weren't on Anthology 3 I replaced with other anthology tracks by the same Beatle (and one was from White Album anniversary instead of anthology), and I didn't replace them with anthology tracks from other albums in the main catalog

the tracks that are replaced are:

I want you (she's so heavy) replaced with Child Of Nature . I would have used What's The New Mary Jane . it is the right length, but I can't stand that track

Here Comes The Sun was replace with All Things Must Pass

You Never Give Me Your Money was replaced with teddy boy

sun king was replaced with a beginning because I thought that a track with that name would be a good way to kick into the medley

Golden Slumbers was replaced with junk

Carry That Weight was replaced with not guilty

and Her Majesty was omitted

------------------------------------------

i made it in spotify if you wanna listen to it. it doesn't give you the same feeling at the end that the real one does, but i thought it was a fun experiment.

I'm pretty sure that TWBG was actually referring to the entire Love soundtrack as a whole.  It's all really just one big medley anyway, and that makes it basically a single song, a long song but a single song.  Kinda like those big classical pieces.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Why, @William Shears Campbell? @ThatWeirdBeatlesGirl's playlist included George's Here Comes the Moon and Paul's Uncle Albert /Admiral Halsey , so why would it be more likely to include the Beatles Love album than John's song Love, which would work very well after I Will ? Myself, I think TWBG was referencing John's Love rather than the Beatles mash-up.

I mean it would be a pretty crazy plot twist in the playlist...  In all reality I was being sarcastic referring to joshthenerd's question assuming that "Love" was a Beatles as a band track.  It was just my attempt at a laugh.
