No, they have mulitple people, like 8 Pauls, 4 Johns, 3 Georges and 2 Ringos.

Eleanor Rigby doesn’t have any guitars, drums or bass. Though they did the same with She’s Leaving Home though that is because they included that whole album.

I Me Mine is better than One After 909 in my opinion.

8 Pauls in the studio playing all the instruments he played on the song? Sounds awful if so. Would be mayhem on some of the songs.

Though that is also inacurate since there wern’t 8 Pauls, 4 Johns, 3 Georges and 2 Ringos.

Can we not just focus on all the pretty colors? ^^ And the occasional lyrics on screen are awesome.

Also, it would also be inaccurate for them to have recorded Octopus’s Garden while sitting at the bottom of the ocean, because they’d kind of drown down there. And I would be sad.

I wish it was like Guitar Hero 5 where you could have any Beatles playing any part and sing any song.

I’m not there playing for historical and accurate representation, though. It’s a game for cry eye. LOL! It’s just beautiful to look at. I will admit I make mistakes often because I’m too busy watching the bits instead of playing. a-hard-days-night-paul-7

Maybe we could have a tournament, the people who have the game sign up then we play the same song with the same instrument and who ever gets the highest score wins. It will be just for fun.

Anyone wanna try this?

The game’s ok, but a bad interpretation of The Beatles for several reasons:

1. Inaccurate instrumentation (ex: having John play an acoustic guitar on Dear Prudence , George playing lead guitar on Back In The USSR , Paul not playing guitar on Sgt. Pepper ‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Ringo playing drums on Back In The USSR )

2. Refusing to show Billy Preston, George Martin, Eric Clapton, or anyone else besides the fab four themselves

3. Inaccurate venues (ex: I Me Mine on The Rooftop, Taxman at Budokan, You Won’t See Me at Shea Stadium)

4. Bad choice of songs (hits-wise, ex: Boys and Do You Want To Know A Secret over Please Please Me , I Wanna Be Your Man over All My Loving and She Loves You , I’m Looking Through You over Rock And Roll Music , Taxman and And Your Bird Can Sing over Nowhere Man and We Can Work It Out (somewhat fixed with DLC), Getting Better and Good Morning, Good Morning over Eleanor Rigby and Sgt. Pepper ‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)/A Day In The Life (somewhat fixed with DLC), Hey Bulldog over Hey Jude , Dear Prudence over Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da , I Want You (She’s So Heavy) over The Ballad Of John And Yoko I Me Mine over Let It Be and One After 909 and they just had to include a song from Love in there)

I’d like to see a The Beatles Rock Band 2 with all of this stuff fixed.

They won’t do She Loves You because there is no official stereo mix. To have the different tracks drop out if you messed up on a guitar part would be impossible unless you remixed it from mono. Apple will not do that… (I’m sure other songs have mix issues that they couldn’t pull curtain tracks out to put them in the game to make to follow as needed.)  Then you have fans angry/happy for the new mix. Some would be happy for the stereo mix. Some would be angry it even happened because it is not true to The Beatles catalogue.

As for the game showing the proper Beatles playing the proper parts in each song… It would look funny if they took each member out of the “classic” instrument they play.  Ignorance in bliss to the masses and those of us who know (limited numbers) the dirty details are the ones who don’t get it. Otherwise it would be the other way around and the masses wouldn’t get why Paul was playing drums.

I think the game is great for casual fans and a great way to promote The Beatles in a new fresh (for 2009) way.  I played the hack out of this game when it came out!! I am not very skilled, but I played it none-the-less.

I MIGHT be game. But not right away. I haven’t played in a little, let me get less rusty first.  a-hard-days-night-paul-4

And if we do, people need to DOCUMENT their scores. Simply stating it is not good enough. Take a pic of the screen and show us. a-hard-days-night-john-1

The reason for all of these insane backgrounds is actually because The Beatles are getting high in the recording studio (hence why all of these backgrounds are there and why the ESRB rated the game T even though The Beatles are a band that you would let a 5 year old listen to).

What they should’ve done was used the actual music videos and or live performances and if the song didn’t have one, synch it with another one, for example syncing Come Together with the Revolution promo.

They could have, but they did that in the 1+ Blue-Ray/DVD and it looks kind of cheesy to me.  I like the cartoony feel it has. Plus they might not have had the rights to the videos to use them.

Paul and Ringo were fully aware of the game and they could’ve easily asked them.

That would lose the game animation and would make the game less attractive to youngsters who don’t want to thru sit an actual live performance.

And are you seriously suggesting they could have synced “‘Come Together ‘ with the ‘Revolution ‘ promo”? A minute ago you were complaining the game was inaccurate due to an incorrect guitar used by John. ahdn_paul_01

I’m Down . I’ve already recorded a few videos to prove the scores, though my skills are limited to Easy on Drums and Medium on Guitar. Been that way ever since my GH days.
