“Too Hard,” gets some help from another Beatle’s son, Dhani Harrison. “I wrote it in L.A, and tried to infuse it with a country feel to really bring out that desperation, and the idea of trying too hard,” McCartney said. “Dhani Harrison came into the studio and we both collaborated on the guitar solo in the song.” “Too Hard” is also the first song from the album available to preview. You can hear it in the video spot on this page.

Offline ^ She designs custom-made clothes for her close family and friends. She designed Dhani’s wife, Sola’s wedding dress and I’m pretty sure she does odd jackets for Dhani as well.

Offline Out of interest was it that Heather just pissed off Stella so much that Stella didnt design Heather’s wedding dress; did Heather not bother to ask as she wasn’t much of a fan of keeping Paul close to Linda’s legacy (as the story goes) or did Stella just not like Heather and not want to? Or was it a mixture?

If I remember correctly none of Paul’s children liked Heather. I think James stopped talking to Paul when he was married to Heather because of it.
Stella was an already established and respected designer by 2002 as she had already established her own fashion house with Gucci and had been creative designer of Chloé since the last ’90’s.
So I’d say it was because she didn’t like Heather that she didn’t design her dress. Stella seems more than confident enough to say “no” if Heather asked her to make one, so I’d say that’s what happened.
You’re welcome AG, the detail is incredible on it- it’s a gorgeous dress.

I’d say she didn’t ask because no matter how thick you may be, you can know whether someone likes you or not and I don’t think you’d ask a person who doesn’t like you to design a dress for you (this is a ridiciulously long sentence).

Offline ^ Lesson learned, always listen to the children.
I remember Dhani* was asked in a radio interview sometime during P&H’s divorce about how he felt on it and he said in a kind of angry voice “no comment”. He’s really close to the McCartney kids so I can’t imagine he liked her either.
*I always manage to swing everything back to Dhani don’t I?

I want to test it. Since Alfred Sung quit making the perfume I used to wear, I haven’t found anything to replace it. It was so unique and special. I got compliments on it everywhere I went. *sigh* I really do miss it.

I did go the ebay/Amazon marketplace route. Unfortunately, perfume loses its strength and smell over time. It is now too far away from the time it was made to be any good. 🙁
I’ve read about a place in Paris that mixes up customized scents. I wonder if they could even come close to replicating Sung.
