I was really hoping that was part of the April Fool’s joke.
If her cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit is anything to go by, I’d rather loop PS Love Me Do for eternity.

I might regret this once the entire cover comes out, but the teaser doesn’t sound too bad. It’s just a different groove.

Her singing doesn’t sound good for me. I expect I’ll like (or at least tolerate) the Lips’ parts, but Miley Cyrus isn’t the type of musician I want covering the Beatles.
I will say though, new directions with covers are normally good, which is something we can definitely expect from Flaming Lips and Miley Cyrus.

Oh no , does that mean we have video of Miley twerking against a dwarf, while she sings ‘I’d love to turn you on’ to look forward too?
I am just gonna pretend this isn’t happening and make sure I never hear or see any of this because what is heard/seen can never be unheard/unseen and I can not risk one of my all time favourite songs being permanently scarred.
Hello Denial. Ticket for one please

Though I can hardly say I love how she behaves, with all the twerking against dwarfs and all, I must say she is a good singer. She can really sing, just check out her cover of Dolly Parton’s Darlene from a few years ago. There’s no accounting for taste, but you can hardly call that bad singing.
Having said that, I must also say I’m not particularly looking forward to hear her sing Beatles songs. I don’t think her voice will suit ADITL

I’ve only ever heard one song of his, know only that his daughter is called Miley and have no desire to hear anything else. I do agree the song hasnt aged well, my liking is more memory and its rarely good revisiting things of your childhood.

I am ok with Miley one thing you can say is that her new image has worked in getting her popular again. How long she remains popular remains to be scene.
If you can't log in and can't use the forum go here and someone will help you out.

Her image consists of grinding her backside against anything that moves, snogging anyone (female is ideal but a good looking guy will do) who is nearby when a photographer is in the area, wearing as little as possible and anything else that gets attention. I seriously doubt the large majority could sing one of her songs. Sorry but it irks me that a lack of musical talent is not a hindrance to being a successful pop star.

That’s a problem I have with current music. There’s not much talent, just being pretty and waving while trying to pass noise off as good music.
