Yoko is suing Frederic Seaman, John’s personal assistant during his last months, who stole John’s diaries and much more besides in the wake of his death, for $150,000.
In 2002 Seaman apologised to Yoko and agreed to no longer give interviews about his time working for John, which breached the confidentiality agreement in his 1979 employment contract.
On 10 September he gave an interview about his time working for John, and suggested he was working on a revised and expanded version of his 1991 book The Last Days of John Lennon : A Personal Memoir, breaching the 2002 court order preventing him giving interviews or profiting from the time he worked for John, resulting in Yoko needing to take legal action to shut him up again.

Paul has announced that the 4K remastered version of his animated short Rupert and The Frog Song (which gave us We All Stand Together) will premiere on YouTube on Sunday (8 November) at 7pm GMT/2pm ET/11am PT. It can be seen here.
From Paul’s website:
On Sunday 8th November, celebrate 100 years of DreamWorks Animation/Classic Media’s Rupert The Bear with a special YouTube premiere of Paul’s animated film Rupert and the Frog Song.
Originally released in 1984, the film was written and produced by Paul and directed by animator Geoff Dunbar. Paul voices the character of Rupert, and other notable voices include the beloved British TV icons June Whitfield (as Rupert’s mother) and Windsor Davies (as Father Frog). Released simultaneously with We All Stand Together, the film went on to become the biggest selling video of 1985 in the UK earning Paul a Grammy nomination in the process as well as seeing him win a revered Ivor Novello Award for Best Film Soundtrack and picking up a BAFTA for Best Animated Short Film.
Rupert and the Frog Song has now been fully restored in 4K with a new audio mix, and will be officially released on YouTube for the first time.
“Congratulations to Rupert on his 100th birthday. The great thing is he never looks a day older. Having been a fan of his since my early days in Liverpool, I know what he means to generations of young and old kids. In his character and attitudes to the world, he sums up the best of British tradition and reminds us of an innocence we would all love to cherish. So, congratulations my little bear. Your fans are celebrating your 100th birthday and I for one think you deserve a telegram from the Queen.” Paul McCartney
The remastered video for We All Stand Together will also be uploaded to YT on Sunday.

Maybe the song will be reissued too. I don’t think it’s had a reissue since the 1993 release of Pipes Of Peace (unless it’s on Pure McCartney, I have no clue). The instrumental version on the B Side hasn’t had a release since the original 1984 single I believe.

Craig Brown‘s book One Two Three Four: The Beatles in Time, published in April, has won this year’s Baillie Gifford Prize, the UK’s top award for non-fiction (and worth £50,000).
Chair of the judges Martha Kearney described it as…
…a joyous, irreverent, insightful celebration of the Beatles, a highly original take on familiar territory.
It’s also a profound book about success and failure which won the unanimous support of our judges. Craig Brown has reinvented the art of biography. In the deep gloom of 2020, we have discovered a shaft of light.
The idea of there being a fresh book about the Beatles is quite hard to imagine as there is so much written about them – but it is such an original book. It is like a collage – he has picked so many fascinating details from so many sources and woven them together to give us new insights about the Beatles. It is such a funny book, but also very profound.

I can no longer read such books but I have read reviews on Amazon where its claimed there are some very daft typos and errors. All books will have them but writing that ‘ATU’ was written in India is plain bad (if is the case).
I remember loving Bill Harry’s ‘Beatles Encyclopaedia’ when I was first getting into the Beatles but the more I learnt elsewhere the more the abysmal glaring errors made for me to hate it.

Would be good if the documentary went beyond the Beatles years, ‘Live And Let Die ’ is there so there is some hope.
