While it’s disappointing to hear the film(s) will miss the 50th Anniversary, I still don’t think that means the album will. Maybe they always intended to split the spend – album first followed by film cinema and DVD/Blu-ray release, streaming on Disney, along with the book, or maybe coronavirus altered their plans as they realised there was a reasonable chance lots of cinemas could be closed in May by Government order, whichever Government that happens to be, but I still think the album will be May.

Converse are a really old brand. Started in 1908.

Wow, I had no idea. I had a pair of high tops when I was a kid, so I always thought of them as children’s shoes. Like maybe 10 years ago, I noticed high school age girls wearing pink ones and then my daughter bought me a standard pair of low tops for Christmas. Maybe people have been wearing them all these years and I just never noticed. stuart-sutcliffe

Looks to me that Apple have done as was reported and delayed it all for the holiday market. Maybe it’s the pessimist in me but I can’t see the point of releasing the music three months ahead of the film (and the original ’LIB ’ looks like it will be after the new one). Unless they give us a special edition in September. Surely you’d put out the music with the film. I was wrong about the report saying it would be delayed, maybe I’m wrong about that too. Who knows!?

It does look like the date will work in their favour tho since you’d think nothing will be open in May. Bond was the first to be delayed and it makes no sense putting a film out in May when there is massive uncertainty in what will be happening then, good chance no one will be allowed out to watch it in cinemas.

I think maybe the white ones came first, then later they added fancy colors. Not 100% sure though.

I don’t really know if this counts as Beatles news per se, but it does have to do with a former Beatle. Feel free to move this post if it could fit better somewhere else.

Paul McCartney is going to be performing with other artists in a coronavirus relief concert.

And, with the Whoniverse, and the audio episodes, and the novels, some writer in the future might choose to pick up on the idea of The Beatles in Hamburg, 1960/1961, encountering the Ogrons and the involvement of a previous regeneration. So, we might not have heard the last of this.
