I haven’t had any Beatles dreams yet, but apparently I’ve talked about them so much that my friends have started dreaming about them against their will. Oops?

I dreamt about George and Dhani last night — my first Beatles dream in an age!

I was kicking about in a large, fluorescently-lit shop, browsing the Beatles Bible on this ere tablet, perusing some Beatles poetry. Of a sudden those two (Dhani was in his twenties and George was aged to match, probably) showed up — I think Dhani approached me first. George, by the way, was mostly invisible apart from his clothes (I even looked down the collar of his black shirt and saw naught), but this was in no way unnerving — he was just spiritually present, I suppose. Which makes sense as, judging by Dhani’s age, it probably somewhat after George was supposed to have died… I don’t know.

Anyway, we chatted a bit, George put his arm about my shoulders a-hard-days-night-george-9 (apparently he was quite physically present, if not visible, at the time) and strolled along. Eventually he and I ended up whizzing about the aisles of the shop on a small trolley, which was naught more than a bit of deal with four wheels on it, at great speeds.

There was more, but I disremember it. a-hard-days-night-ringo-11

I’m sure you liked snuggling with George more than the alive-again/supposed-to-be-dead sheep.

I’m currently getting an ad that claims I can cheat my credit score…. I blame being an adult. I no longer have time for such childish things as lucid dreaming.

I was playing some kind of puzzle-game. I shouted out, “John Lennon is sweet!” The person conducting the game said I was right and that I won.

Actually, the ad seems primarily targeted towards adults, saying that lucid dreaming is a great way to increase your productivity and improve your spiritual health and loads of other stuff.

That might be from the Philosophy thread. I was on there the other day and the amazon ads were for religious books.

Last night, I was dreaming that I was looking at Ringo Starr concert tickets. I clicked to select tickets on the map, and they had front row seats available for $12! I jumped around fangirling like crazy, and ran to tell my mum. Needless to say I was very angry when I woke up. blue-meaniepaul-mccartney

I finally managed to have a Beatles-related dream myself.

I dreamt that I was back in school and John and Cynthia were my classmates. I suppose in this dream world we were friends, as we cut class to go loiter behind the building together. Unfortunately, I woke up before anything interesting could happen; all we did was stand uselessly and joke about how our teachers were terrible. A little uninteresting, but kind of funny in hindsight.

I wonder what it would be like to be in a coma and be in a Yellow Submarine like world in your mind. I wish I could make up what type of dreams I have, then maybe I could have a interview with Paul McCartney in my dreams or listen to a 4 hour lecture from George Harrison about his Fender Stratocaster in my dreams.

I think I can say that I had my first proper Beatle – related dream. I was hanging out with George, who looked like this:

f40c50729581802efedda025a373115a.jpgImage Enlarger

Someone else was with us, but I can’t remember who. We went to the record shop I go to (the record shop keeps appearing in my dreams for some reason! ahdn_george_08) and on the way, we were talking and joking about Liverpool. When we got to the record shop, George went inside and there was a box full of birthday cards where some DVDs in the shop usually are. I must have gone to look for a Beatles record to show him, but when I turned around, he was sorting through the box of cards.  I think I asked him what he was doing, and he told me come over. He pulled out a card with Snoopy on the front, and started to talk to me about it. I was listening to him talking about the card, and then the dream ended abruptly.

Well, as a result of my marathon yesterday, and hearing them progress, I had a dream where I was literally a fly on the wall of studio 2, and there was ’64 George, ’66 John, ’67 Ringo and ’69 Paul recording Taxman

Fantastic dream!

I wonder what instruments and instrument models they were using, if I had to guess it’d be:

John Lennon : Epiphone Casino

Paul McCartney : Rickenbacker Bass

George Harrison : Fender Stratocaster

Ringo Starr : Drums

If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.
