@meanmistermustard Taking a a break to say I’m at the end of page 13, and I think we’re at the first incident of not having a full page to deal with. The cache only goes to post 253, which is blank (I don’t know if that’s an edit from Mr. Sun King or the cache just didn’t capture the comment). I can add that blank post with a [bracketed note] that 254-260 are missing.
So for those following me, if you’ve been relying so far on the post numbers matching so far, that will no longer be case… UNLESS we want to put in blank posts as placeholders? Maybe that’ll make it easier for everyone to keep track, and to keep the page count the same?

Offline Yeah, I have the full page 14. It’s 13 that’s missing entries. I just want to know if it’ll make people’s lives easier if we make a point of adding in blank posts to represent the missing posts. That way the post count and pages will stay the same as we continue copying/pasting.

That gives me an idea. @Starr Shine? would you mind clicking through MMM’s links at the beginning of the thread from P.14-on and, if you spot any pages missing entries, and if you have links with complete entries, alert him so he can update them?

Edit: Thanks for the link to p.14, because apparently the cached link posted at the top of this thread was missing entries too. And it definitely helps to keep the same post/page count as the original to stay on track. I already discovered I skipped an entry and had to go back to edit, that’s really helping me double-check.

Offline Thanks Parlance and Annadog.
The idea with missing posts is to leave a note in its space saying it was deleted by accident and is presumed lost but if found will be pasted back in. It makes it easier if one ever does appear somewhere.
Page 18 is the only one that isnt complete i believe as it couldnt be traced.

Offline I was looking at Page 19 and I saw two posts that were quoted are they both posts that are missing from page 18 or not and if they are would they be put in page 18

A few nights ago, I dreamed this Penny Lane montauge. It was odd. But in a good way, y’know? I wrote a looooong story about it, but here’s the gist.
Basically, Paul and I were skipping down Penny Lane. All the characters from the song were popping up. They were freaky and I tried to steer clear of them, but Paul insisted on greeting everyone. The rain continually started and stopped. Paul kept pulling out an umbrella and saying “Very strange,” whenever the storm started up again. There was a marching band on the street that played a lovely instrumental version of the song as we walked. The dream ended with Paul and I dancing in the middle of Penny Lane in the pouring rain.
That’s a terrible summary. >.< It was actually a great dream. Don’t want to bore any of you with the real story, though.:D

Re the missing posts if we put a note saying its a reasonable guess i dont think too many will be fussed. Its more important the posts are there, isnt it?
