O.K. O.K. sorry abut that. I was speaking from my perspective. I have no wish to live a long life. I’m hoping these kids live decades beyond me.

You middle-agers and up – rock on as long as you like.

But you have to keep finding threads for us for years to come … let alone organise the library at BB house :)

I spent too many of my formative years visiting my dad in the nursing home and saw the ravages of aging. Not my cup of tea…I hope. I’m sure a young person will come along that I can count on to take my place on BB organizational projects.

No need for a replacement AG, we’ll just hook you up to some computer that keeps you ticking over so you are on here 24/7 keeping the place nice and ordered.

@Ahhh Girl As long as you keep yourself healthy you can live a long and happy life that doesn’t involve nursing homes. Paul and Ringo are getting old and they’re both very energetic and happy. Health is the main factor not age.

Hello. I joined about a month ago, but I was a little inactive. I’ve decided to rise up and introduce myself. I’m LifeRaider, and I’m one of the few teenagers in the world who likes The Beatles.

In short, I’m a teenage Beatle fan in a town of teenage Beatle haters. I hope I stay on this forum for a long time.a-hard-days-night-john-3

I remember a few years back seeing my son’s Facebook account, claiming the Beatles was his favourite band.  He changed that since, but along with a wide variety of music he listens to, he still randomly plays quite a bit of Beatles music.

I think I did a great job of planting the seed………. heart

I was a teenage fan until 4 years ago. lol Now I am the ripe age of 24. a-hard-days-night-george-10

When others were getting into newer music, I was going back in time and listening to music that was popular when my dad was a teen. I realized hey its not bad for old music. Here I am 10 years later.a-hard-days-night-george-9

I was a teenage Beatlemaniac when I first joined this site.  Now I’m a twenty-two year old Beatlemaniac.

EDIT: Also, “I was a teenage Beatlemaniac” sounds like the title of a ’50s horror B-movie.

I’m fifteen. I honestly don’t know why there aren’t more teenage Beatlemaniacs. Most music that teenagers like has to do with the fact that for some reason its popular, not because there’s anything good about it. I always thought that idea was bullshit.

I was actually a little surprised how many people around my age were on this forum. Surprised and pleased, of course.

Hi! I’m 13, so yes, a teenager. But I’m not the youngest Beatlemaniac on here…

Just like Mimi, I’m also surprised there are so many young fans on here, but that is only good, right?

There are quite a few (young) Beatles fans in the world. I have two friends who like them, not hardcore fans, though.

I just wonder how many fans there are in the world…

Oh – think I mentioned it elsewhere but 2 of my 3 kids love the Beatles as well  – and my middle special person found out that one of her schoolmates loved them as well and had been shy about telling anyone and was stoked that she did too.

I’m 15 years old. And I just thought of something that I had first thought about in February:

When I’m 64, I’ll be able to say, “It was one-hundred years ago today, the Beatles came to the USA.”

I’m a teen Beatlemaniac too. a-hard-days-night-john-6It’s pretty bad when all the kids in the school nag you because you’re constantly referencing the Beatlesa-hard-days-night-paul-11, they listen to modern pop that I hate (Taylor Swift, Beyonce, One Direction, etc.) , and nobody in CHOIR CLASS knows all of their namespaul-mccartneypaul-mccartneypaul-mccartneypaul-mccartney (except the director, but she doesn’t count). It’s really bad for a teen Beatlemaniac in the 21st century!

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

@thisbirdhasflown

I know! don’t you hate it when they dismiss The Beatles without knowing anything about them!?

I constantly get told to shut up about The Beatles.

@Mimi That’s exactly how it is in my school. Nag,nag,nag.a-hard-days-night-paul-11a-hard-days-night-paul-11a-hard-days-night-paul-11 It’s not that my mind is old. Their music really is awful. One time one of the kids thought the Beatles were perverted. paul-mccartneyI choked on my hot dog. But you know what Paul says: “Don’t take it bad. Take a sad song and make it better.”

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

Ha! Maybe that could have happened! They’re pretty crazy to me! “back in school again, Maxwell plays the fool again, teacher gets annoyed.”

Have any of you youngsters played some Beatles songs when your friends are around without telling them that it is the Beatles?
