It’s an 18-second snippet of (I think) Lennon and McCartney singing a demo version of Eleanor Rigby (acoustic guitar backing).

Can buy me love! Please consider supporting the Beatles Bible on Amazon
Or buy my paperback/ebook! Riding So High – The Beatles and Drugs

Don't miss The Bowie Bible – now live!

Not so much an alternate take but its the first string track of two from the She’s Leaving Home multitracks which sounds lush. What makes it more interesting than the basic backing track of the song is that its unedited and so has a few extra notes that were ultimately edited out for the commercial version.

Also up from this users account are:

Strings 2

Paul and John’s vocals

"I told you everything I could about me, Told you everything I could" ('Before Believing' - Emmylou Harris)

A difficult one not to laugh at…plus there’s this, but keep it secret! It’s like the other half of Anthology 3 that we knew existed somewhere, called Whitology.

Sorry, double post, but this song is way too beautiful not to share…why it didn't make the White Album is beyond me…Paul with an acoustic guitar, tough to beat.

WOW!!!!

I'd only ever heard the Mary Hopkin version.

Would have preferred “Good Bye” to “Good Night ” at the end of the White Album !!!!

Not an alternate take but the A Day In The Life vocals from the multitrack. Johns vocal is stunning when naked.
