"Beatles Bibile Site" (sung to tune of Yellow Sumbarine)

In the Forum - where I post,

There’s a girl - I call M3.

And she rewrites - Beatles songs,

But just not as - good as me,

So we posted – a few songs,

That we rewrote – no easy thing,

Then we were - joined in our game,

By a guy named - Mr. Sun King.

We all post on the Beatles Bible site,

Beatles Bible site, Beatles Bible site.

We all post on the Beatles Bible site,

Beatles Bible site, Beatles Bible site.

All our friends - are getting bored,

Many of these posts - will be ignored,

‘Cause there’s nothing new to say.

(Trumpets play)

We all post on the Beatles Bible site,

Beatles Bible Site, Beatles Bible Site.

We all post on the Beatles Bible site,

Beatles Bible Site, Beatles Bible Site.

I derailed - another thread (another thread)

And I’m sorry (he is sorry) that was so mean (was so mean),

I will get, (he will get) us back on track (back on track)

By typing Yellow (typing Yellow) Submarine. (Submarine) (Ah-ha!)

We all post on the Beatles Bible site,

Beatles Bible site, Beatles Bible site.

We all post on the Beatles Bible site,

Beatles Bible site, Beatles Bible site.

Zig: The BeatlesBible's answer to Frank Jacobs!

I remember George saying 'Blimey, he's always talking about “Yesterday”, you'd think he was Beethoven or somebody' - Paul McCartney

Beatles Bible Site is my favouritea-hard-days-night-john-6

You have a real talent for re-writing songs. These ones, and the Imagine one as well.

I want to try now, but I'll most likely fail completely

Nice MAD reference!

mithveaen - Wow Zig!! You need to get another jacket for all your George Martins and Mals!!george-martin george-martingeorge-martinmal-evansmal-evansmal-evans

Imagine how cool that jacket will look when I get my new Help! scarf. I like the George Martins but I love the Mals.

Paulrus- You have a real talent for re-writing songs.

That's just me exposing my inner Ringo! It's a good thing this is a Beatles site - I can say things like that and not get labeled as a pervert.

Joe - Love it! We have a theme tune!

Thanks Joe, but we need to aim higher - much higher!

Funny story: Today I was telling my friend how the Beatles are one of the best bands in history, and he said " Yeah with songs like Yellow Submarine? lol" I responded " Have you heard Strawberry Fields or A Day In The Life?" he gave me a blank look and was speechless. Lol owned.

And in her eyes you see nothing, No sign of love behind the tears, Cried for no one, A love that should have lasted years.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 Sadly, a lot of their songs have been reduced to baby music.

Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!

Hey!

It's OK, Zig. You know I love you -- yeah, yeah, yeah!

Right back at ya M3!

I was going to rewrite (re-rewrite?) that "not as good as me" line, but forgot to. Your lyrics are just as stellar - love your sense of humor. a-hard-days-night-george-10

What about my lyrics?
I take offense to the line regarding me

As if it matters how a man falls down.'

'When the fall's all that's left, it matters a great deal.

You were offiended by this???

"Then we were – joined in our game,

Hoo boy - OK - mr. Sun king coming together is my hero. Compared to him, John Lennon and Paul McCartney were hacks!

Happy?

Yeah - I knew were kidding - so was I. It's so hard to see sarcasm in print isn't it?

That sounds like a great signature...
But I'm keeping mine. Are there any posters who want to be guinea pigs? MrBig, perhaps?

Right. As a matter of fact if you print this page and fold it just so, you will see an image of Alfred E. Neuman playing drums for The Beatles at The Hollywood Bowl. Here is the head.

As for you M3, I saw this just this morning in an email...

"There is great need for a sarcasm font."
