I had Let It Be stuck in my head when I survived a school shooting. It was months ago now and I’m still not really okay from it. I was eating lunch with my band directors (nobody else wants to talk to me, plus one of them bought me McDonald’s) and they came over the intercom and was like “Lockdown” so we rushed into a room without windows locked the door and turned the lights out. Mr. ___ noticed I was crying and shaking and all that nonsense and he said to me “come over here to us and recite your favourite song lyrics to yourself in your head” so I went over to him and the guy had his damn arm around me for 3 ENTIRE HOURS. Anyway, I chose Let It Be and I don’t know why. I didn’t have the beatlemania like I do now and back then I hadn’t heard that song in many months. I love my band directors lol
