My dad has also just recently completed a version of Strawberry Fields Forever which I think he did well on. Especially since John is his favorite and Strawberry Fields is his favorite song. The thing is, my dad thinks he did terrible. As for myself, I need to record a few of my favorites.

Mr Moonlight . This is a harmony and lead guitar test. My lead guitar playing is awful, but this is the first time I’ve ever tried playing lead.

It is definitely harder, and the only part I disagree with there 
is that it’s okay to go for hard stuff right away, just don’t expect it to be good. Doing the hard stuff at least mediocrely will make they easy stuff… easy.

I always get so jealous of people who do covers. They can sing well and play the guitar! I, on the other hand, can’t sing at all. And I can’t even manage Love Me Do on guitar. *sigh*
