In My life is my all time Beatle song; so thats what I would pick first. If not, then probably She's Leaving Home- such a pretty song…. a-hard-days-night-john-3

I'll be back again :]

I'm not sure I want Beatles songs played at mine. I want my loved ones to be able to listen to them and think of me and not my funeral.

Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!

Oh, you really have a point here…

I'd like to say "thank you" on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition.

Ditto.

So maybe something fun so they can remember The Beatles *and* my funeral smiling or rolling eyes. Maybe I'm Down. a-hard-days-night-george-8

Thriller?

Another One Bites the Dust?

Highway to Hell?

Don't Fear the Reaper?

Oh! If you're getting cremated… Disco Inferno… BURN, BABY BURN!

And the Benny Hill theme song. Just because I can.

I applaud your optimism.

So far, my favorite response is the theme to The Benny Hill Show a-hard-days-night-ringo-8. That would be hilarious. apple01

I told my friend that I don't want a funeral. I want him to take my body to the closest body of water and just dump it there. Much cheaper! Plus, funerals are sad and I don't want anyone to sit through mine.

A lot of people seem to want “In my life” played at their funeral.
I was on that bandwagon but have now decided that my funeral should be a celebration of the fact that I lived at all.
Therefore, the song I will have played is a tie between “Why don't we do it in the road” and “I Am The Walrus

I think I prefer SKYE idea: that they remember me, alive and kicking,  singing the Beatles, and not the Beatles singing in my funeral…

BURN, baby, BURN is a good option… I've always hated disco anyway a-hard-days-night-paul-11

I don't think I'd have any Beatles played at my funeral: my friends/family all have a warped sense of humor, so it would probably be something like “Fame, I'm gonna live forever…..”

But at the party that follows, I think my loved ones know that the procedings start with that beautiful “ONE, TWO, THREE, FAH!” of “I Saw Her Standing There ” and pretty much continue through the entire Beatles library until the liquor runs out……and loud, I want it damn loud…..!

I'm still laughing. 😀

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.
