Offline I wish they had ended Rubber Soul with In My Life , and put wait, If I Needed Someone , and Run For Your Life earlier in the album. They should have given George some back up vocals on Don’t Bother Me , that would have helped it a lot. And my last complaint is that they bass isn’t noticeable enough on a few early albums.

Offline I almost wish they would’ve used harmonicas/mouth organs in The End , just for the sheer sake of bookending the band’s career. And I wish Let It Be was released before Abbey Road , so The End really could have been The End . But I think the Beatles’ ending was perfect as it was, with the rooftop concert.
Though if I had to nitpick, they should’ve done some earlier songs too.

It just BEGS for some kind of cool, catchy chorus to start except for repeating itself all the way through. It’s kinda disappointing to wait for it… and nothing comes. Eh.

Offline I always wanted the four of them to shout ‘Hey!’ at the very end of Ob-Bla-Di-Ob-Bla-Da. The Marmalade shouted it when they did a cover of the song. I just always thought it gave the song a nice touch in The Marmalade’s version.

Nah, not necessary for me. I would, however, have preferred that the line ‘As long as I have you near me’ had been ‘As long as I have her near me.’ It just seems rather odd to suddenly, briefly go into the second person.

Offline I wish Let It Be /Get Back had been finished and released before Abbey Road . Mostly because AR is such a perfect last album. Not bashing on LIB , I love it, I just wish AR was the last to be released.
