Just discovered this on Anthology. Was John Lennon responsible for this rehearsal take? This is so amazing and ahead of it’s time, I wish they did something with this. Is there anymore background on it?

Not sure about how that rehearsal came to be, but it sure would sound cool as an outro/transition into Love You To . It has a similar sound to the outro of Magical Mystery Tour . Kind of a surreal jazz.
