thete are hundreds of great lines, but I've got to give a nod to their last line. for the greatest band in R&R history to go out on a lyric that sums up the meaning of life and says "goodbye" just amazes me.
EDIT: SwiftKey auto correct sucks!

Haha! And the I'm So Tired line! "He was such a stupid git!" Perfection.<snip snip >
, I forgot a favourite line of mine! The one in Rocky Raccoon , about Gideon's bible, how they make him a person, and how he must of left the bible behind for Rocky. Brillllliance.
love the "git" line. Gideon is as close as it gets to a perfect metaphor in my book. not just making Gideon a person but the fact that he left a bible perhaps in hopes that he'll get its message of nonviolence. and then using the word "revival" which of course can have a religious meeting. plus it rhymes. I think I just defined the act of writing songs lol - metaphors and rhymes.

New to Beatles Bible, but I have a few I'd like to mention
welcome to the family! I've been here since February and the people are helpful, kind, and there is even a thread just to say what's going on in your life and if it's a difficult issue we offer sympathy and advice. not to mention all the times I've been corrected on technical points - always gently there's a topic to introduce yourself I'm in a hurry so I can't link you but to an advanced search on topic titles only "introduce yourself forum" and you'll find it. nice to have you aboard

SFF has some amazing lyrics.
"I think I know I mean, ah yes, but it's all wrong
That is I think I disagree."
Pure unmatched genius.
I thought that was the lyric for a while too, but now I'm pretty sure it's:
"I think a no, I mean a yes, but it's all wrong, that is I think I disagree."
Which makes more sense of you think about it.

As can be seen in John's handwritten draft:
it's I think I know I mean - er -
Yes, but it's all wrong
That is I think I disagree.
