Pretty much. Though you are missing the Sheridan recordings, the Decca Audition and Star Club. Interview material excluded, but spoken word recordings included. Generally.
A couple of grey markets still being thunk about. Most recent grey markets excluded though. Too murky to decide if many if them are true grey market rather than bootlegs disguised as…
There are NO bootleg only tracks. Everything on the list has been legally released. Even if often with a sneer of disapproval from The Beatles themselves.
There should be a good few days to discuss as I see voting going live on 1 February for 28 days.

Offline Forgot all about the grey market.
Were the original Lennon and McCartney Decca numbers ever issued on the grey market? I know a lot of the time they were removed so to not irk Apple but there have been about 1,873 different releases so could have been.
So it’s the horrendous ‘Not Guilty ‘ and take 1 of ‘While My Guitar Gently Weeps ‘ with the totally pointless guitar loop at the end. This is going to remind me of all the ways Apple screwed up some of the ‘Anthology’ material. Will be good fun tho as no doubt there will be good material I have forgotten about and I can continue to berate Apple for being shit in the past, present and future.

To be fair it’s hard to work out which is worse as the instrumental is a colossal bore at either length. When the best part of a track is the count-in and someone shouting near the end you know it’s not worth bothering with. I personally have the opinion of if I’m going to listen to it I might as well endure the whole damn thing. Same goes with the not-funny-in-the-slightest-even-on-the-first-listen ‘Los Paranoias’.

Offline I need to dig through my cassettes (yes cassettes). Early 80’s, friend in LA sent me several tapes of Beatles outtakes, All the Xmas Greetings, and one I really like which is basically the whole White Album done acoustically. Also picked up the Get Back sessions (double vinyl). Getting it all translated into shareable files is something else, though. Is this stuff canon or non-canon? Not hip to your groovy lingo!
