I like its lyrics most of all :D When ever my friend was sad or depressed (she had problems at home) I would always sing it to her and it would make her happy again :) so its got a place in my heart! And whenever I see any person who is sad I always sing it to them

I'll take one from each album, in order..

Ask Me Why; Don't Bother Me; Can't Buy Me Love; I Don't Want To Spoil The Party; Help, If I Needed Someone, I'm Only Sleeping, Good Morning Good Morning, Strawberry Fields, Dear Prudence, MMM/PP/SCITTBW, Dig A Pony or One After 909..

What about Yellow Submarine, and all their singles, b-sides, and that lp Long Tall Sally?

Any Time At All is one of my favourites off the Hard Days Night LP but it is filler, but then so is When I Get Home and i love that too.

I don't think it's a filler. In fact, it's my favorite on A Hard Day's Night. :D

I just meant that because it was written and recorded so quickly, I've never thought that it would be somebody favourite Beatles song. It surprised me :)

Please Please Me: I Saw Her Standing There

With the Beatles: It Won't Be Long

A Hard Day's Night: You Can't Do That

Beatles For Sale: I Don't Want To Spoil The Party

Help!: Ticket To Ride

Rubber Soul: Norwegian Wood

Revolver: And Your Bird Can Sing

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band: Getting Better

Magical Mystery Tour: Your Mother Should Know

The Beatles [Disc 1]: Dear Prudence

The Beatles [Disc 2]: Mother Nature's Son

Yellow Submarine:  All Together Now

Abbey Road: You Never Give Me Your Money

Let It Be: Across The Universe

...out of curiosity, I checked. My list shows a strong preference for Lennon (8), followed by songs written by McCartney with Lennon (3), tied with songs written by McCartney alone (3), and followed lastly by Lennon with McCartney (2).

Hi, @Liz2015. I found two threads where the person who started the thread (posts 1 and 30 in this thread) wanted the thread to be for people to list their "top hit"/favorite/best Beatles song. Both threads meandered and people began listing more than their #1, but I suppose that's fine. I merged those two threads and added your first post to the list.

Welcome to the Beatles Bible. Do let me know if I can help you in anyway while you are cruising around the site.

For all to see, there are many threads with various combinations of "favs" for many categories. http://www.beatlesbible.com/fo.....;search=3/

Perhaps some of these can be merged. I'll take a look later.

My favorite Beatles song is from the White Album and written by George. It is of course "Piggies".

One from each album would be:

PPM: Anna

WTB: All My Loving

BFS: What You're Doing

AHDN: And I Love Her

Help!: Ticket To Ride

RS: In My Life (actual favourite song, and my favourite of all time)

Revolver: And Your Bird Can Sing, but very hard to choose

SPLHCB: A Day In The Life

TB: I'm So Tired/Mother Nature's Son

AR: Something/ Medley

LIB: Across The Universe

and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make

Most days my favourite is And Your Bird Can Sing.  Lately, though, I can't get I'm Only Sleeping out of my mind.  Also, I love both Paperback Writer and Rain.
