Which song is your most played in your music program?

Post your most played overall, and, if it isn’t a Beatles song, post your most played Beatles song as well.

My most played song is All My Loving . Counting both Mono and Stereo, it’s got 237 plays… a-hard-days-night-ringo-6

Wow, that’s a lot.

My top five most played Beatles songs are:

Till There Was You (A Beatle-ish song) – 949?! a-hard-days-night-paul-1 (It’s over nine HUNDRED!!)

Your Mother Should Know – 325

Honey Pie – 267

Her Majesty – 166

I’ve Got A Feeling – 128

(The most listened to NON-Beatles song is The Fox in the Snow by Belle & Sebastian – 260 … a-hard-days-night-paul-10)

I really don’t understand why I’ve played Till There Was You so many times, it was probably on repeat or something a-hard-days-night-paul-11

a-hard-days-night-paul-6Wow, I listen to lots of Paul!

I'm in love, but I'm lazy.

Mhh I don’t listen to my music in iTunes, and I don’t have an iPod. I use Winamp and my mp3 player is a Sony Walkman, so I can’t get that information.

But I can tell you that I listen to the Beatles in chronological order, so every time I open my Beatles playlist, I always start with I Saw Her Standing There . That must be my most played song.

I’m with you – I don’t do the iPod thing, I listen to the CD’s in order (Abbey Road is the last!!) and I feel old. The last one has nothing to do with the first two.

Most listened to Beatles song – “Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)” – 22 plays

Overall most listened to song – “21st Century Breakdown” by Green Day – 34 plays

The medley plays a large part in my most played songs with Sun King coming in at number one and Golden Slumbers at number two. After that Happiness Is A Warm Gun , Strawberry Fields Forever and Good Morning Good Morning round out my top five.

With over 350 Beatles songs (yikes!) on my ipod, I try to listen to them all equally, though some favorites do emerge.

And like Gnik Nus, I also listen to the medley very often, my top plays look like this:

Martha My Dear – 238
Mean Mr. Mustard- 216
Sun King – 215
Polythene Pam – 215
Happiness Is A Warm Gun – 210
Eleanor Rigby – 204

etc., etc,. etc… a-hard-days-night-george-8

Tongue, lose thy light. Moon, take thy flight… see ya, George!

I switched over from iTunes to MusicBee, so my totals are a little skewed, and it doesn’t count times played on my iPod. But,

Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five 10

Venus And Mars 9

Dear Prudence 8

Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da 8

Back In The USSR 8

Rock Show 8

Don’t Pass Me By 7

Why Don’t We Do It in the Road? 7

Julia 7

Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!

Bungelow Bill clocks in at 26, I get bored of songs WAYYY faster than you guys. And Bill, really? What the hell have I done?

When I Twish And Shout, it makes the Girl say "What Goes On?", and than I say, "I do this Here, There and Everywhere", and than she finishes by saying "Honey Don't".

Same, 701 – That’s both Mono and Stereo remasters, Past Masters , LOVE, Live At The BBC , Anthologies, and probably some more that I can’t remember right now…

I'd like to be, under the sea, in an octopus's garden, with you.

I only have about 2 Live At The BBC songs on them, not quite all the anthologies and NONE of the mono/stereo remasters yet! I’m broke, though, I shall be joining you all soon enough! a-hard-days-night-john-6

Top 10:

Carry That Weight .” 61 plays.

“I'm Looking Through You.” 62 plays.

Golden Slumbers .” 62 plays.

She Came In Through The Bathroom Window .” 62 plays.

“Mean Mr. Mustard.” 62 plays.

Sun King .” 62 plays.

For No One .” 66 plays.

You Never Give Me Your Money .” 66 plays.

I Will .” 71 plays.

“I've Just Seen a Face.” 72 plays.

We shuffle it a lot, because we like to be surprised. But the medley and Paul show up quite a bit, don't they?

Also, it doesn't count how many times we play it on my mom's iPod. If it did…

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.
