It’s no secret of the influence that early rockers like Chuck Berry, Elvis and Little Richard had on the Beatles. I read in Wikipedia that Paul once said of Little Richard that – “I used to sing his stuff but there came a point when I wanted one of my own, so I wrote ‘I’m Down .” While I love the Beatles version of “I’m Down “, I think it would have been absolutely amazing to hear a Little Richard cover of it.
