Offline OK. Topic title changed. Should we mainly have 1 list running at a time? I wouldn’t rap any knuckles if someone went back and picked up an earlier list to comment on. Or do we let people quote and comment on any list at any time? I have no preference.

I’m aware of that version. It’s good. But it isn’t nearly as good as John’s version.Some of the arrangements are all over the place and the vocal performance is overdone, it just doesn’t feel as personal. George’s vocals as the “round round” is much more smoother and the constant pace doesn’t fuck up the emotion the way it does in Jerry’s band. Besides, one of the reasons Dear Prudence is the best is because of the instrumental breakdown at the end, this doesn’t even have something nearly as touching. Also 11 minutes? No thanks. My Prudence is concise and tight

5. Don’t Let Me Down – Hard to say, something about that song never fully connected with me. When it comes up in a playlist or on Past Masters or at a Beatles tribute concert I’m always a bit like “Okay, I guess it has to be there, but I’m more interested in what comes next”. Needless to say it’s still a good song!
4. Twist And Shout – Together with Long Tall Sally my favourite cover song of the Beatles. It’s energetic and a cool rocker.
3. A Hard Days Night – Catchy and iconic, with the vocal switch between Lennon and McCartney as a highlight!
2. Penny Lane – One of the best songs ever, Beautiful melody, beautiful slightly baroque instrumentation, the perfect companion piece to Strawberry Fields Forever .

Offline Well, I did this before, but I feel like doing it again. I have 5 songs, and you have the option to vote for your favourite.
The songs are:

After enough users have voted their favorite, I will tally up the results, and see which song is beloved by the most fans. Use your opinion, not others, and you can write your feelings on the song if you want as well

And, like last time, when there are enough answers, someone else can do 5 songs.
How about we make it like the baker’s dozen. In this game, if you make the 8th answer, you choose 5 songs to have others vote for. You can do songs other people did before, but you cannot have 3 or more already used songs in one poll.
The reason I’m making a second one is because the first one went off topic, and I wanted to make a more organized one.
