I was on YouTube, and I saw a version of DLMD. It’s apparently the Naked version. So, what do you guys think?

Wow that video is amazing… and back to your question… I'm not sure I guess it's the same version. I’m going to check.

Edit : I played the video and my CD at the same time, and they're identical.

Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……

Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go.

How many times did they perform this one the rooftop? Cause there is also there is also the version where John flubs up the lyrics.

I swear I only really like this song when I watch them perform it. Something about watching them perform it adds to the value of this song.

Well we all shine on like the moon, the stars, and the sun.

An edit was used on Let It Be …. Naked, I believe, due to the flubbed lyrics. Confirmation would be great.

Yip. Apple did a cut and paste job and edited the two performances together to make one complete whole as John flubs both rooftop performances. Cant have a John vocal flub on record can we? Would completely ruin the image!

Well considering they were promoting Let It Be Naked , it makes sense they used the version in the album. a-hard-days-night-paul-10

I like the ending of the rooftop one better with just the “pleehhheeease” as opposed to the way the single ends. Other than that I don’t see much of a difference.

Feels so surreal; couldn’t stop crying (metaphorically) when I listened to this one. (I don’t own the rights to the sound clip).

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 StrawberryFieldsForever first made a new thread using the above post. The two of us agreed the post fit in nicely with this thread. The song he posted is the way Don’t Let Me Down was heard by folks standing on the street during the Rooftop concert. VERY interesting.

I feel like that too, seeing them play definitely adds something to it. And I like John’s lyric flub from the rooftop version in LIB .
