I'm listening to the John Anthology and it struck me that Jealous Guy is pretty similar to Child Of Nature . I checked and sure enough they are very similar. I guess he couldn't sue himself for copyright infringement, but maybe could have...

'Jealous Guy ' is 'Child Of Nature ' except John rewrote the lyrics before it appeared on the 'Imagine ' album. And it hadn't been released before that point so even if possible (which it isnt - actually there probably are thousands of examples where it did happen) then there was no charge anyway.
