AH! So it is. I was looking at it, and wondering how in the world could they have gotten Officially Pronounced Dead off of something so *clearly* reading OPP, BUT:
Some people misread the patch on the Sgt. Pepper cover, which is easy to do if this is what they saw. I'm also seeing on another site that a radio station was the first to start the rumor as a hoax, and it just spiraled out of control.

Offline I didn't see an answer post – so I believe that the Plastic Ono Band song offered to the Beatles was Look At Me – but I'm going off memory.
Other clues to Paul's death – the finger pointing to Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock on the back of Sgt Pepper . The Walrus was Paul line – and then the walrus has a hand over it's head on Magical and Paul has a hand over his hand on Sgt Pepper . The cover of Sgt Pepper is supposed to be a funeral scene. Number 9 on Revolution 9 backwards says Turn Me On Dead Man.
