The first minute and a half I really like! The idea was great, but the rest not so much. I don’t think it needed all the extra stuff you added I think the Jealous Guy vocals on top of A Day In The Life would’ve been perfect.
At least you have a good ear for potential mash-up matches!

I’ve decided not to do it, after all. I don’t own the American version of A Hard Day’s Night on CD, so I don’t own a copy of Ringo’s Theme. I wouldn’t feel right about stealing the song off of Youtube. Sorry.

Offline I stole it… I buy all the Beatles stuff I listen to though and have paid for some albums multiple times (vinyl, digital, etc) so I don’t feel that bad.
Here it is!
I took the George Martin orchestration and put it in the key of the original song, so its the This Boy vocals over Ringo’s theme and then turns into just orchestration in the key of the real song.

Offline Have Revolution and Revolution 1 ever been mashed-up? I know there’s the live version, which is pretty much the original but with the “shoo-be-doo-wah” bluesy parts in the verses and chorus, which I love.

Offline That WMGGW tribute cover is fantastic. I’m surprised to see Prince up there as he’s normally portrayed as a narcissistic big-headed arse (personally i don’t mind him) so a bit of a shock to me to see him and play and what a solo!!

Offline Wait , @MrMoonlight, do you want the real bass drums and vocals, and just guitar from the other? Or just the best mix possible. I don’t know how the two vocals will work out.

I think the easiest (and best-sounding) would come from putting Harrison’s isolated vocals over it. The drums and bass don’t really matter if you’ve got the Rock Band files for the vocals.

Offline @MrMoonlight I was poking around the forum and I saw this and I would be down for helping with a Love remake if you are still thinking about it. I have made some remixes with Audacity myself although they were horrible (e.g. Roll Over Beethoven /I Want You (She’s So Heavy).
