Are there any Beatles songs that, no matter how hard you try, you just can't bring yourself to listen to?

I haven't particularly got one but my great uncle says he can't stand Michelle , strangely.

Actually, he had a bit of an anecdote, too; he was out somewhere, like on a holiday, and there was a tribute band. He asked them to play any song except Michelle , but they replied saying that's the only one they know. a-hard-days-night-george-9

But what about you?

I really can't think of one either, but that's a pretty funny story. I mean there's some I'd rather listen to than others, but there's none that I'd skip if they came up on a playlist or something. Kudos on the interesting topic, though.

I don't expect you... to understand after you've caused so much pain. But then again, you're just a human... a victim of the insane.

There is a thread very similar to this here

"I told you everything I could about me, Told you everything I could" ('Before Believing' - Emmylou Harris)

mmm, thanks for helping MrMoonlight out.

@MrMoonlight No worries. The forum is quite large. Someone will get you going in the right direction... cue "With A Little Help From My Friends ".

On a side note: I wish I could stop typing forum as fourm. I wish I had a nickel for every time I've done that.

Surely this is in the running for 'the longest thread title' on this forum?

Don't like "Love Me Do " but I don't try to listen to it at all, just skip it.

GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions, Marvin Gaye. PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

More from the White...I always skip Helter Skelter , the song just creeps me out, I guess from the Manson connection.  I tend to skip songs that were overplayed (in my life) - Let it Be, Hey Jude , Come Together come to mind - all great tunes, just went through my ears a few too many times...

Half of what I say is meaningless...

I feel good in a special way, I'm in love and it's a sunny day

If I spoke prose you'd all find out, I don't know what I talk about.
