Any lovers of this album? I’m listening to it right now. Ringo has always been a country fan and it’s nice to hear him do an album with the Nashville sound. Definitely one of his best.

I think that his album Ringo has better highs, but Beaucoups Of Blues is a better album.

I LOVE Ringo, but Beaucoups of Blues is an extremely close second. They’re both the ones I play the most of his full albums.

Ahhh Mom fell in love with this album while I was playing it for her. She didn’t even wait until the end to make a judgement.

I really enjoy this album! I love that Ringo’s voice fits so well within the country genre.

After I first listened to this album, I thought that Ringo should have gone more into country in his solo career.

Didn’t like it at the time (yes, heresy I know – I even traded it in for something else) – but like it a lot now.

If it was for ‘Ringo The 4th’ or ‘Bad Boy ‘ you’ll be tracked down and lynched by Beatles fans.

Yes! I’m not alone on my opinion.  I feel like it’s just cool to hate this album.

Beaucoups Of Blues doesn’t take itself seriously at first with its thematic and rather silly front, but as ou delve into the album, you start to see its layers and vulnerability as an actual country/blues album. The backing band is always solid, with solid slide guitar playing throughout.

Woman Of the Night would have to be my favorite track.

I think my favorite is probably Wine, Women, and Loud, Happy Songs, but they are all good.

There are some really nice songs on it along with a seriously cool country vibe. I love ‘Love Don’t Last Long’, such a sad depressing song with nothing happy in it at all yet sounds brilliant.

‘The Wishing Book’, an outtake from the sessions, is well worth hearing too.
