Mith, you are AMAZINGLY lucky. It sounds fantastic, and I wish I was there as well. I saw Paul live this summer, which was obviously amazing, but it'd be just perfect to see Ringo too, I'm not sure I will ever get to see .My dad always holds it over me that he saw George (in 74) which I'll clearly never do. I don't know anyone that saw John perform though. Did anybody here see him or know someone that did? Just wondering.

"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

well, he never really did any post-breakup tours, did he? (Correct me if I'm wrong)
My 8th grade English teacher saw the Beatles' first ever U.S. concert at the Washington Coliseum when she was in 8th grade.
I am so jealous of her it is not even funny.

John only did a handful of shows live outside of the beatles, and some stories say that many tickets for the One to One Concerts had to be given away! From watch the beatles and solo footage, John had a presence on stage that is hard to find in many artists.
To have seen the beatles is concert deserves interest to be given. Just to have been in that environment.

I know! When she told me, my immediate response was to be all "Ohmigosh, Mrs. Simchak, that's amazing! I wish I could have been there, it would have been a historical experience etc. etc. etc....I AM SO JEALOUS"
she just looks at me and goes "You SHOULD be jealous. It was an awesome concert."
Then she goes "and Paul was SO CUTE!!!"
It's kind of funny getting a glimpse of your middle-aged teacher as a 13-year-old fangirl.
meanmistermustard, I know what you mean about John's stage presence. He had a wonderful and very unique blend of charisma and awkwardness. Plus, he was so impulsive onstage, you don't see that with many other musicians. I would have loved to see him live, maybe even the most out of the three.

My phrasing got messed up. I meant either "more than the other three" or "out of the four"
I have seen Paul though. Four days after my fourteenth birthday. Best present ever.

In regards to Ringo's recent tour, He has certainly discovered the fountain of youth. He has the energy and the ethusiasm of a man much younger than his 71 years. I've had the pleasure of seeing both Ringo and Paul in Concert and managed to briefly see them after their shows when they left in their limos and put the windows down briefly. Ringo made the peace sign and Paul gave us a thumbs up.

Someone left a comment on a page on the site (I deleted it because it wasn't relevant to the article) asking why I ignore Ringo's tour but always cover Paul's concerts. It's a fair question - I should probably at least add the setlist info from Setlist.fm. Time, as ever, is elusive right now.

Carried over from my note in post 1 of this thread "Ringo's 2010 tour carried over into 2011. During this time frame, he was touring with his 11th All-Starr Band." I updated the title of the thread to reflect the merge.
I am keeping the different tours by Ringo separate. There is a thread for his 2012-2013 tour. There is a thread for his 2014 tour.
