@Filipe, i’ve moved your post here as it fits nicely with the others, hopefully you’re ok with that.Ringo’s middle period catalogue has long been overlooked so its difficult getting most of what you are looking for. I’m not familiar with the Portugal iTunes and amazon (guessing they’re your local stores going by your location) but:
‘Ringo The Fourth’ has recently been added to the US iTunes store, its not in the UK one but it may be in Portugal’s
‘Bad Boy ‘ is available in the UK iTunes so presumably elsewhere – but region variations may again apply.
‘Stop And Smell The Roses’ and ‘Old Wave’ have long been forgotten and fallen out of print. You can probably get both on cd from amazon but adding in p&p will no doubt go over your limit.
All of the albums are available in full on youtube, there are plenty of ways of getting them from there to your listening device just have a google search for how to.
No problem about moving the topic!
Thanks for the info, but I’m looking for the actual “official” CD’s, I already have the songs, so iTunes isn’t what I’m looking for.
Let’s hope Ringo re-releases his albums in a near future, although I’m not very optimistic about that…

@Filipe fye.com has used Ringo albums as low as $4.99 US. musicstack.com has a huge collection starting at $8.99 US.
Thanks for the suggestion – but both sites have the ‘usual suspects’ at decent prices and the CDs @Filipe and I would like to see are either out of stock or crazy prices.

Two of Ringo Starr ‘s out-of-print CDs have been made available for digital download on iTunes, “Ringo’s Rotogravure” and “Ringo the 4th”.
http://wogew.blogspot.co.uk/20…..gital.html
Having both on vinyl and CD, I highly recommend you get them. Two great albums that are too often overlooked.

apart from the historic one, 73’s Ringo, the best of all, (i think we all agree!) for me Choose love is a very good album, one of his most personal. the title track is so beatly that at first hearing one could think of a Fabs unreleased, actually! Hear Me Lord is good too. deeply felt and sincere. why am i wrong all the time? is another very good tune, one of the best ballads Ringo has ever sung and written. and i like to mention Give me back the beat, too. a love song for drumming, originally intended to be played also by watts, zak and keltner. i always have liked Rotogravure, too, though it’s not much considered. after all it contains John Paul and George’s contributions, between wich i like most Paul’s Pure gold. some other tunes from the album are a typical 70’s sound, such as You don’y know me at all. Old wave is another underrated record. Pictures show life, the cover of I keep pretending and the two instrumental tracks, everybody’s in a hurry but me and Goin down are really enjoiable.
Ringorama follows the suggestion of Hudson who purposed to record the drums very strong, is maybe the record of his’ in wich Ringo shows his drumming at his best.
and even Ringo the 4th is not so bad. I gave it all up is a good tune, and the record has the peculiarity of being written almost all by the Ringo and Poincia team. obviously very good album, too, are Y not, stop and smell the roses ( wrack my brain, dead giveaway), vertical man
so, i think many of his records deserve to be bought or at least listened. the ones i don’t like, or like less are 2012 (a pale follower to Y not) Goodnight Vienna (pale follower of Ringo) and Bad boy wich is very cheapThe following people thank Rising sun for this post:

I doubt he would have been as well known but he would have found an audience. John said in 1980 that “Ringo was a professional drummer who sang and performed, so his talents would have come out one way or the other. I don’t know what he would have ended up as – whatever that spark is in Ringo, we all know it but we can’t put our finger on it. There’s something in him that’s projectable and he would have surfaced as an individual.” and i do think he is right.
Ringo does have a limited range but if he keeps inside that range and finds the right material and production team it will find an audience, the same as with any singer. And this is coming from someone who is not much of a fan of his solo catalogue post-1976.

Always good to see more Ringo fans aboutHonestly, If Ringo wasn’t in the Beatles, would anybody listen to his stuff? Sure there are few good ones on his greatest hits LP, but it gets pretty lame after that.
Just the messenger, don’t shoot me!
I think much the same about the other three so no issues there.

Choose Love is a cracking album, and suffers unfairly because “oh its a Ringo album”. I quite like the production on it apart from the songs, it’s clear and unpretentious. I’m also really impressed by the lyrics, they’re equally unpretentious and from the heart: Free Drinks is a bit harrowing really, sounds like a postcard from his old alcoholic life. Some People is a Good Song and of course Choose Love covers Beatles references yay!

Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.
