Ringo and Friends at the Ryman | Fab Forum | The Beatles Bible

This was on a couple of days ago on CBS.  I was surprised there wasn’t a thread on it here.  The music was enjoyable enough, and Ringo still sounds the same as he did when he was in the Beatles IMO, unlike Paul unfortunately.  

There were a couple of things that surprised me.  One was Dolly Parton’s comments on Ringo.  She said Ringo was “The Wild One”, and what girl didn’t like the wild boy?  And I thought the wild one?  I’ve heard a lot of things about Ringo, but I’ve never heard him called the wild one before.  Not saying he couldn’t be wild, but what?

Someone who had met the Beatles in the ’60s said that John was introverted, Paul was extroverted, and George was very, very quiet.  I can’t remember what they said about Ringo, I think maybe that he was fun.
