I like the album. Nilsson's music is very clever. Its great music for the car because the story is easy to follow and the songs are catchy and upbeat. I have never seen the movie though. I must watch it.

I've had the original of Harry Nilsson's album "The Point!" since I was a kid. I've only ever seen the animated version with Ringo narrating, and only then, once, many years ago. I've not seen the play or anything. I used to love sitting there listening to the album, the entire story.

According to Wikipedia at any rate, he wrote The Point! after coming off an acid trip and realizing in looking at the trees, branches, houses, everything came to a point. He then realized "everything's got 'em!" .
