Good effort but MacDonald got a coupla things wrong – there’s no mention of Nicky Hopkins’ electric piano on Revolution .

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

When I get the time I’ll go back through Joe’s list alphabetically to double check. I preferred using the book for the first go round because I didn’t need to wait for the next page to load, plus it had been a while since I read through that book. Its really quite good, despite a few errors. I’m sure more than just one of these is wrong. I’ll find out soon enough.

Ian isn’t the most reliable source, he’s a better source than Robert Fontenot but still I recommend using other sources first, such as The Beatles Bible.

Looking at this list, it seems that he forgot to mention George Martin’s piano in Tell Me Why and You’re Going To Lose That Girl , as well as John’s piano in Helter Skelter . Also, while John definitely played piano on the backing track of Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da , the little fills were likely done by Paul.
