Offline The same reason that they messed around with the speed up the She’s Leaving Home ‘s mono mix, they felt like it. Either that or because they wanted the mono mix to be shorter than the stereo mix, I know they also bit a chunk out of Helter Skelter in the mono mix which is why I think Helter Skelter should only be listened to in stereo.
