The intro to Drive My Car can be complicated for a beginner, but once you get the hang of it, it'll be like playing Smoke On The Water. Also, Hal Leonard isn't the most accurate source. I'd recommend to learn by ear, like I do or if that's too hard to do, you can watch them play the song live or watch Beatles To A Tee.
