Hi there
I’m a vocalist in an Australian Beatles cover band called Glass Onion . We’re making a concerted effort to try and replicate various sound effects used in Beatles songs from 1965-1970. Can anyone tell me if there is somewhere I can download these samples to then trigger on stage using an iPad?
I’m looking for things like
– jet at the beginning of Back In The USSR
– mellotron flutes at the end of Strawberry Fields Forever
– radio samples from I Am The Walrus
– orchestral crescendos from A Day In The Life
etc, etc
Is anyone able to point me in the right direction? I would really appreciate it.

Offline The rockband multi’s are out there and will help you with a lot of them – they are all over the net including youtube but one link is here (if the downloads are still working).
Its really a matter of hunting thru youtube for each song and seeing if they have been isolated, most have. The sound effects reel from the Pepper album (audience, animals sounds etc) was booted years ago on ‘Secret Songs in Pepperland ‘.

@Cygnus74 If you can find the Revolver Sessions there’s a pretty good isolation of the Yellow Submarine sound effects on the third volume.

No, it’s all in one track like the Rock Band files, but either could be cut up if needed.
@Cygnus74 Do you play Tomorrow Never Knows ? Because Track 4 Vol. 1 of the Revolver Sessions has all the loops used each separated with silence in between, so you could easily isolate each one to use in performance.

Offline @Mr.Kite no we don’t do that one either. The next one I need to work on is I Am The Walrus . I’d like to get the radio stuff after the “sitting in an English garden” section. It’s hard to isolate that from the multitracks.
