Hi, having being inspired by The Beatles an in particular John Lennon when growing up, I have finally written a book ‘Sixth Beatle’ featuring some of their songs. See http://www.sixthbeatle.com
It’s a music themed book, not just about the Beatles by any means, so it’s not for you if you are only interested in fan fiction. But for example, the song ‘All You Need Is Love ‘ is central to the plot and the book’s theme. And I do have a meeting between the book’s main character – a genius boy musician – and John Lennon himself.
One of the main theme’s is ‘why do so many young musicians leave us too soon’, including of course, John Lennon . My young hero character becomes obsessed that he will die young, like Lennon, Mozart, Buddy Holly, Glen Miller, Jimi Hendricks etc etc. But in the meantime he wants to create the most perfect piece of music and see if that can ‘change the world’
